Culturally Responsive Health Care System
Culturally Responsive Health Care System
Tepeyac was founded to meet the challenge of accessing affordable health care 27 years ago. That challenge still exists today especially for Latino families who experience a multitude of barriers to accessing healthcare—including lack of insurance, cost of care, and language and cultural barriers. Despite these uncertainties, one thing remains: Tepeyac’s devotion and dedication to serving Denver’s most vulnerable families.
Tepeyac has experienced tremendous growth and evolution over the years and continues to be the trusted provider in the Latino community providing access to high-quality, affordable primary and preventative care to every patient regardless of legal status or health insurance coverage.
Tepeyac Community Health Center respects the inherent dignity of every person who visits our clinic. We strive to be sensitive, inclusive, and empowering in our relationships. Not only is our medical staff bilingual, speaking both English and Spanish, but they are also accepting and respectful of cultural differences. As a result, our patients gain a better understanding of medical terms and recommendations and are more fully engaged in their health goals.
