Disability Competent Care

Tepeyac Community Health Center has a coordinated care team prepared to care for individuals of all ages with intellectual, developmental, and physical disabilities.

Our intellectual and developmentally disabled adult (18+) care specialist, Dr. Barry Martin, and our pediatrician, Dr. Columba Marcantonio, have extensive experience providing medical care for individuals with disabilities. Additionally, all of Tepeyac’s providers have completed disability competency trainings.

We offer onsite integrated case management, behavioral health, nursing, and pharmacy teams to connect you with services, assist with therapy, and ensure you have access to the medications you need. We can assist with home healthcare forms and referrals to specialty services and disability waivers.

Our clinic is ADA compliant and accessible. We have assistive technology, including:

• All exam tables are ADA-accessible and height-adjustable

• Wheelchair scales and hoyer lifts

• Touchless wave to open doors

• All services available in English, Spanish, and other languages including ASL

Tepeyac accepts Medicaid, Medicare, and most private insurances. A sliding fee discount program is available for all qualifying patients.

Patients without insurance are welcome.
