One of the first Tepeyac patients getting a COVID vaccine administered by one of our medical assistants, Karen!
The Moderna Vaccine
Tepeyac is following Governor Polis’ directive to serve people 70+ years of age and frontline workers in the 1B category ONLY at this time. If you have had any other vaccine in the last two weeks (flu, shingles, etc.) please wait at least two weeks before you register. It is important that you commit to keeping your appointment and if unable to do so call us to cancel so we can schedule another person.
Tepeyac is currently at capacity with COVID vaccination appointments. Please check back soon to get registered.
Use your smartphone to tell CDC about any side effects after getting the COVID-19 vaccine. You’ll also get reminders if you need a second vaccine dose. vsafe.cdc.gov

What Our Staff Are Saying
“Join me in getting vaccinated -- it is an important step we can all take to protect the health of our community!”
Jim Garcia
Chief Executive Officer
“I feel grateful to have the privilege to get vaccinated – this is an important step forward for all of us in keeping our communities safe. The process was extremely easy, the staff was helpful, and the vaccine was painless in my experience!”
— Kelsey, Case Management Intern
“I got the vaccine because I trust science. I am grateful to have had the privilege to be vaccinated in order to safely care for my patients and my family. We all have a responsibility to each other in our global community- this includes wearing masks, getting the vaccine, and social distancing and I am proud of the work we have done at Tepeyac!”
Alison Quinn-Beitscher
Family Nurse Practitioner
“I feel HONORED to be able to get the COVID vaccine. I am so grateful to all the volunteers and scientists that worked diligently to create a safe and effective vaccine. I feel hopeful for what the future holds. I got the vaccine to protect my neighbors, my family and my friends loved ones. I feel amazing after the vaccine and trust the science behind it.”
Paulina Segovia
Physician Assistant
“I am incredibly grateful to have received the COVID vaccine. I got the vaccine to protect my patients, my family and friends, my community, and lastly myself. I trust the vaccine as part of the path forward from this difficult time. I had a few common side effects from the vaccine (sore arm, chills, body/muscle aches, fatigue), all which only lasted one day. I hope that when it is your turn… you will not pass up the opportunity! Peace and strength to all.”
Pamela Valenza
Family Physician and Chief Health Officer
“I decided to get the vaccine because it was recommended by public health and medical experts. I have friends who’ve had COVID and had a really bad experience, so I decided I’d rather get the vaccine than get COVID. I also want to help reduce COVID in the community. I got the vaccine in the morning and had some soreness in my arm by the evening. The soreness only lasted a day or two, and otherwise I had no side effects! I’m excited for when my partner and the rest of my family can get the vaccine too.”
Gabriela
Quality Improvement and Compliance Manager
I'm so excited to be among the first Americans to receive the vaccine against COVID-19! I feel confident that this vaccine is safe and effective, and this is our best chance to end the pandemic. Big thanks to Denver Health for arranging the vaccine administration for healthcare workers!
Erin Bender
Physician Assistant
“I was so excited to get my vaccine and I could barely even feel a pinch when I got it! I felt a little tired that afternoon but the next day back to normal. I am looking forward to more people to be able to get vaccinated so we can see a way out of the grief and economic distress affecting our communities since 2020.”
